Assemblymember, District 23
Questionnaires submitted by five candidates seeking the club’s endorsement have been posted on the Election 2022 page and on our social media outlets. Please review this information before the Sunday meeting to help inform your voting decisions.
Eligible members will vote on the endorsement of the proposed Ordinance for Oversight of the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office by Fixin’ San Mateo to establish citizen’s oversight of the County Sheriff’s Department. Representatives from this group will make a presentation during our meeting and take questions.
There will be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions of Assemblymember Berman, the candidates and Fixin’ San Mateo County representatives. In order to win our endorsement, a candidate or proposal must receive a 60% YES vote. Options to make No Endorsement or Abstain will also be included on the ballot.
